Nice vid Mark.

I've heard it's not the best track for higher HP V8 cars because it's almost all tight turns and there's really no place to stretch the legs so to speak. From the video, that would appear to be true. Looks like lots of fun though.

Big Willow is supposed to be the end of this month. If I get my brake pads done in time I might go to that. They're getting too low for me to be comfortable with taking it on the track.

Times?

My next runs will be at big willow. It took about 7 laps before my pads were perfect and man did those C5 brakes hold and stop me on a dime. OH Snap......I forgot to invite pete :mert: :grouphug:

Looks like fun!

What was the yellow car that passed you about half way thru the video?

The yellow car was a S2000 who happened to crash abut an hour later, he ran of the course at about 45mph into a huge pit of mud and water and tore up the side of car and covered the track in mud and dirt. He was driving like an idiot all morning.

I bet that's a great track for an S2000 though. Probably 2nd to 3rd the whole way and always sitting above 4K RPM's.

Admittedly, the S2K is a really enjoyable track toy. I didn't get to drive it, but I went around the track several times with a friend who has one. I think it wouldn't be much fun on the streets though. You have to wait until 6K before you get into the real power band.
