The well known Mustang transformer, Steve Saleen, will begin venturing out into unfamiliar territories. In an attempt to widen its market, Saleen has outfitted both the 2010 Camaro and the Challenger with its custom SMS package. The 6.2-liter V8 SMS 620 Camaro will be unveiled today at the Detroit Auto Show. 575-hp and 600 lb-ft of torque will rush the 620 Camaro from 0-60 in 4.3 seconds. Let's face it, 4.3 seconds is fast but these days greed and impatience is a common trait among many. For this reason Saleen has created the SMS 620X version with a more powerful 6.2-liter V8 capable of 715-hp and 700 lb-ft of torque shaving off 0.3 seconds for a 0-60 of 4.0 seconds flat.
